OPERATION LOUD BUNNY

OPERATION LOUD BUNNY is a joint effort of the Port Clinton Fire & Rescue Department and the Port Clinton Police Department to escort the Easter Bunny through the streets of the City of Port Clinton during this time of canceled community Easter Egg Hunts in the age of social distancing.

On Saturday, April 11th starting at 1:00 PM the Easter Bunny will hop aboard a fire truck and be escorted around town.

The route selected will be:

Starting at the PC Fire Station – west on State – north on Maple – west on 3rd – south on McKinley – jog on Fremont then south on Kaspar – north on Grant – east on Alice – north on Harrison – east on 6th – south Madison – east on 11th – north on Fulton – west on 4th – north on Harrison – east on 2nd – north on Maple – east on Perry – south on Buckeye – west on State back to the PC Fire Station.

This route places the Easter Bunny within 1000 feet of nearly every home in Port Clinton.

So, how will you know when the Easter Bunny is approaching your neighborhood?  Well, it’s called Operation LOUD Bunny for a reason!  Just listen for the sirens.

Wave from the front window, porch or stoop of your home and please make every effort to keep the proper social distance from each other and refrain from running onto the street as the Easter Bunny passes.
